The "City of Berlin" Stipend Buddy Bear

The "City of Berlin" Stipend Buddy Bear was the German-American cooperative project of the artists Frank Rödel and Bill C. Ray. The names of the German supporters (as of September 2002) of the "Berlin helps the USA" campaign are listed on the reproduction of the Twin Towers.

The Checkpoint Charlie Foundation annually awards prizes and stipends:

for children who lost one or both parents on September 11, 2001

“Standing for the Whole" - Scholarship
a bilateral exchange in the field of urban social work
